The StarBand 481 satellite modem is perfect for residential customers or telecommuters (those working from home) who want high-speed Internet access at an affordable price. This modem is compatible with operating systems supporting TCP/IP protocol such as Windows®, Macintosh®, Unix® and Linux® (Call Center support limited to Windows 98, 98 SE, Me, 2000 Professional, XP and Macintosh OS 9, OS X).
